Scott was born in Iowa, spent years there and in West Virginia, Louisiana, and Georgia. He comes to us after an eleven year pastorate in Michigan.

I am a native Oklahoman, graduated from Ada High School and then went on to get a B.A. from Oklahoma Baptist University. After spending several years overseas as a missionary, she earned a M.A. in Theology from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in San Francisco, CA. She and her husband Adam served in a local church in Honolulu, HI for several years before coming back to Ada. They have two children, Kale (3 years old) and Knox (1 year old).
I grew up in Ada, OK, and I have attended the First Presbyterian Church for 34 years. I graduated from Ada High School in 1997. I have an instrumental music education degree from East Central University and a master’s degree in education with a concentration in library science. I currently live in Roff, OK with my son Sullivan! I teach English and music at Roff Public schools, and my son will start school next fall.
Karah Marie Thompson
I was born on December 19, 1974, five days later, I was baptized during Christmas Eve services. I have been an active member ever since. I attended Ada Schools and studied Music and Biology at ECU. I have a son, Karsten (16), and have worked for the First Presbyterian Church since 2006.
I just wanted to write a quick hello introducing myself. I really enjoy the atmosphere here. I am very pleased to be a part of the team. I am really hoping to excel here at the church and also contribute in my own way. I have no doubt this is a new positive beginning. I am truly grateful. Feel free to stop in and see me.
I was born in Tucson, AZ, and raised in Gallup, NM. I lived and worked there as an auto mechanic until thirty-three years old. In 1977, He moved to Houston where he married Mary Hughes. Mary and I have been married since 1979. I attended the University of Houston graduating with an accounting degree. I have one son, Adam who is married to Ashley. They have two sons, Kale and Knox. I am a retired business man since 2008. I have since revived an old hobby as a lapidary and silversmith. Shown at my workbench.
I’m retiring from East Central on June 29th after 22 years. I’ll continue my private piano lesson studio.
